  • The majority of the aquatic species cannot synthesize vitamin C because of the lack of the enzyme, L-gloconolactone oxidase, which is necessary for the last step of vitamin C biosynthesis; consequently, many aquatic animals are dependent on constant supplementation of vitamin C through the feed. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and its diet supplementation can be improve growth, survival, feed efficiency, moulting, stress resistance, collagen formation, iron metabolism and haematology, reproduction, response to stressors, wound healing and immune response in shrimp.

Indication

  • NANWIN "C"diet helps to shrimp/fishes during low temperature period for enhancing feed digestion efficiency and thereafter promote growth rata.
  • NANWIN "C"protects from various stresses such as: environmental stress, handling stress pathogenic stress, transportation stress, osmotic stress etc, of fish and shrimps.
  • NANWIN "C" helps to eliminate the adverse effect of ammonia on growth of animals and reduces the toxic effect of nitrite levels in intensive aquacul-ture systems.
  • NANWIN "C" offers protection to animal's immune system by encouraging the activity of immune system cells including neutrophils and phagocytes.

Dosage/Method Of Application

  • Shrimp/Prawn: 5 G/Kg of feed (Feed for 4 days and break for 7 days and follow this same).
  • Fish: 1 /2 -1 Kg/1000 Kg of feed. (Or) as Advised by Qualified Aquaculture Practitioner.
