Sodium Percarbonate (Na2H3CO6)
Bacillum Species
Maintenance of adequate levels of dissolved oxygen in pond water is very important for successful shrimp and fish growth and survival. Prolong exposure to the low concentration of oxygen lead to immediate stress, resulted in mass mortality (anoxia) of shrimp stock. When the levels of dissolved oxygen are less than 4 ppm, shrimps swim near the water surface, they need more oxygen to recover from stress conditions. Sodium Per carbonate (Na2H3CO6) and Sodium perborate ([Na]2[B2O4(OH)4]) serves as a stable sources of active oxygen content, which is equivalent to 32% of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and releases oxygen rapidly even at temperatures over 60 C.
